Stir Fry

4 tablespoons vegetable oil
½ head broccoli, chopped
3 turnips, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced into sticks
½ bunch green onions, snipped
1 cup shitake mushrooms, sliced
1 cup green beans, halved
2 tablespoon ginger, grated
2 tablespoons garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon cayenne
Juice of one satsuma
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch
¼ cup water
½ cup peanuts
½ cup Blair Grocery sprouts
2 farm eggs, scrambled
4 cups Cajun Grain, cooked
Directions:
- Cut all vegetables. Leave in separate piles.
- Measure all other ingredients. Mix sugar, satsuma juice, soy sauce and sesame oil together. Dissolve cornstarch in water.
- On high heat, add 2 tablespoons oil. Add garlic and ginger cook 1 minute. Add mushrooms, cook 2 minutes. Add broccoli and turnips cook 3 minutes. Add green beans cook 2 minutes. Add bell pepper cook 1 minute.
- Add soy sauce mixture, toss with vegetables. Add cornstarch and allow to cook until sauce thickens. Add bean sprouts and peanuts. Move vegetables onto a serving dish.
- Add scrambled egg to pan and cook. Add to stir fry mixture. Serve over Cajun Grain rice.
